Our Online PR and New Media Department targets:

· destination sites and on line fanzines (AllHipHop, SOHH)

· portals (AOL Music, MSN Music)

· blogs (Straight Bangin', Hip Hop Music dot com )

· social networking communities (Myspace, Hi5)

· aggregators (YouTube, Google Video)

· Mobile Networks and EVDO’s (Amp'd Mobile, GoTV)

· Satcasters (XM Radio, Sirius)

In the past two years our focus has grown to include what is what is now known as Web 2.0. Web 2.0 is best described as:

· The transition of websites from isolated information silos to sources of content and functionality
· A social phenomenon embracing an approach to generating and distributing Web content itself
· A shift in economic value of the Web, possibly surpassing that of the dot com boom of the late 1990's

With the advent of the Web 2.0 approach New Media marketing has become the most effective tool in reaching the consumer. Push marketing and traditional advertising (print, TV, outdoor) have proven to be too expensive for companies both large and small. Pull marketing, which is the core of the RSG New Media strategy and is growing exponentially.

Room Service offers services that enable our clients to utilize the Web as well as various New Media tools such as podcasts, ringtones, and mobile TV to brand, market and sell their products.
