Our signature event is the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. The Festival features old school, new school and local talent. It is one of the few events of its type in New York and the country. A free event, the Festival attracts like-minded fans from New York to Germany and over to Japan.
The mission of the Festival is to celebrate Hip-Hop culture and the borough of Brooklyn, smash stereotypes, and provide a positive environment for all ages.
In 2007, the Festival will take place over five days in June, the 7th, 14th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. In three years we have moved from a 2,000 capacity venue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn to the entire Fulton Ferry State Park with a capacity of 10,000.
The Festival has established itself as one of the premier Hip-Hop events of the season. We have hosted future Grammy winners, American Music Abroad ambassadors and platinum selling artists.
Festival sponsors include Xbox, Amp’d Mobile, Virgin Mobile, NYC Health Department, and Toyota.
